MIC is the
official management interaction and coordination society of Shaheed
Sukhdev College of Business Studies , University of Delhi. The society firmly believes
that developing managers must master personal development and with the array of
activities the society undertakes, it aims at development of Management skills
(interpersonal skills, analytical skills and conceptual skills) among the
students.
MIC is about
management that forces you to employ your grey cells and pulls you out of your
cobwebs of complacency. MIC is about management in tandem with Maslow’s highest
need hierarchy. MIC is about management as it should be.
Confluence is
our annual flagship event which sees the best of the industry interact with the
brightest of the academia and management games that makes words like innovation
and inventive seem like understatements.
To say that this
year, ‘we would be taking our event to an
even bigger and better scale’ would be monotonously putting an oft-repeated
line. But if we add to it that we have industry czar, FICCI CASCADE partnering
with Confluence’13 for organizing the event, then surely we can stuff ‘monotonous’ safely back in the last
page of the oldest dictionary rested in the last shelf of the oldest
library.
This year, brace
up and get the cobwebs off your grey cells as MIC in partnership in FICCI
CASCADE is going to organize a management fest that would not set a different
level, but make a new scale by which all other management fests would be
gauged.
The theme of the
event is ‘Against Smuggling and Counterfeiting’ and highlights the negative
impact of these activities on our economy at a macro level and also ourselves
at a micro level.
The events
organized in Confluence’13 would cover all the areas of management in the form
of management games that will stay embedded in your minds, even long after your
brain has bid goodbye to the mugged up theories of Keynes and Modigliani.
The event is
going to be a one of its kind and you cannot afford to miss this!
